Japanese athlete and star of the Washington Wizards, Rui Hachimura, will appear on the cover of the Japanese version of NBA 2K22. During a promotional event for the game, Hachimura went on to say the following:
“I’ve been playing the NBA 2K series since I was a little kid, so to become the cover athlete for the game is a dream come true. It’s just the Japanese version of the game, but I’m very happy about it.”
Hachimura will appear on the Standard Edition of the NBA 2K22 in Japan. The game is set to launch on September 10, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Steam. You can see the Japanese announce trailer for Hachimura below.
