Nintendo is prepping another Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program. This is set to start on Tuesday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. (JST, July 28, 6:00 p.m. PDT) and run until Monday, August 11 at 9:59 a.m. (JST, August 10, 5:59 p.m. PDT). Applicants must have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and be 18 as of July 18. This is valid for Nintendo Accounts that are registered in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Brazil or Mexico.
Application submission starts on July 21 and winners will be chosen on a first-come, first served basis with the exception of Japan. Fans there will be chosen via a raffle system if the number of applicants is too large. The results for Japan will be sent out on Friday, July 25 from 1:30 p.m. (JST). Those that took part in the program in 2024 will automatically be able to join the upcoming Playtest. Up to 40,000 people will be able to participate, up from 10,000 from the last year.
