Nintendo’s Japanese Indie Initiative to Cover Upcoming Event for Fans

The next Indie World Showcase is ready to go for the West. For those living in Japan, the presentation will start on Thursday, August 12 at 1:00 a.m. Similar to past Indie World presentations, this presentation will not be available in Japanese and will focus on games releasing in the West. Despite this, the Japanese Indie World Twitter account/initiative will be providing information to Japanese gamers after the event concludes. 

With worldwide release schedules and localization being challenging for many smaller developers and publishers, many of the games that gamers see in the West sometimes take months to reach the Japanese market.
