Splatoon 3 “Sweets-Fest” Coming Feb. 17 to Japan

The next Splatfest for Splatoon 3 has been revealed. For Japan at least. Dubbed the “Sweets-Fest,” the event will kick off on Saturday, February 17 at 9:00 a.m. and run until Monday, February 19 at 9:00 a.m. The tri-color topic this time is asks fans “Which do you like?” with the following options:
  • Anko (Red Bean Paste)
  • Custard
  • Whip Cream
Given the addition of red bean paste, which is quite popular here, this Splatfest will likely remain a Japan exclusive. The previous Splatfest took place last month posing the question, “Who do you spend the holidays with?” The last Japan only event took place in November featuring another Japanese sweet-based Splatfest. You can read more about that here
Additionally, Nintendo will begin selling t-shirts based on those found in the game at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo OSAKA, Nintendo KYOTO, the online My Nintendo store (Japan) and 7-Eleven's 7-Net Shopping. The shirts went on sale today (Thursday, February 1) and run ¥4,950 each (roughly $34 USD). If you have an account and live in Japan, you can pick up the shirts here.
