The 2023 Japan Series, or Nippon Series is in the books! After a hard fought seven game series, we finally have a champion for the 2023 season. Congratulation to the Hanshin Tigers on their victory, taking the series 4-3! This is the first time Hanshin has won the series since 1985 and their second Nippon Series win ever in team history. Their last win came over the Seibu Lions on November 2, 1985 by winning the series 4-2.
As many of you know with Konami’s two year release cycle on their baseball game, eBaseball Power Pros 2022 features roster updates and more for the 2023 season of Nippon Pro Baseball. This includes Live Scenario, the mode that allows players to relive, recreate and rewrite the happenings of the games that took place over the course of the season. Of course, the Nippon Series is also playable here, with Konami offering a number of different key moments from the games for players to overcome.
