Splatoon 3 x Baskin Robbins Campaign Starting June 30 in Japan

Nintendo is once again teaming up with Baskin Robbins in Japan to offer a variety of cool treats to fight the summer heat. The Splatoon 3 x Baskin Robbins Collabo(ration) Campaign will start on Friday, June 30 and run until Thursday, July 20. A new flavor and several items will be hitting the menu. Here’s what will be on offer:

Ikasu Tricolor Fruit Punch

Featuring red, blue and yellow, this cone offers a sweet and sour mix of taste with peach, grape, a yellow soda sorbet and chocolate crunchy puffs.

Point 1 - “This new color combination this year is a sweet and sour peach flavored sorbet that is perfect for the hot summer season. *Ikasu (Cool) Soda and Grape from 2022 is no longer on sale.”

Point 2 - “Eating just one color is delicious, but if you eat all three together it tastes like fruit punch!”

Baskin Robbins recommends trying this new flavor with either orange sherbet or vanilla.

*The word “ikasu” is kind of a play on words. It was often used in the 1980s or so and meant “cool.” In this case, Nintendo is leaning in on the use of “ika,” or squid as they have in the past. For example, videos showcasing Splatoon often include, “IKAga desu ka?” or “How was that?"

Tricolor Pop

Featuring a scoop of Tricolor Fruit Punch and two additional scoops that will come topped with a special Super Sea Snail biscuit/cookie.

Double Cup

There are two designs for Double Cup (scoop) orders. The colors are based on the new Fruit Punch flavor/colors.

Bonus Biscuit/Cookie

Those that order either the Tricolor Pop or Double Cup will be able to get a Judd or Li’l Judd cookie. These are limited to 310,000 nationwide and are only available while supplies last.

Tricolor Crush Soda

This comes with two flavors of ice cream of your choice and a special packet containing yellow lemon and blue grape sauce that can be put over the ice cream.

Ikashita Ice Cream Set

This is a variety box that can be filled with nine flavors of your choice all housed in a squid shaped box.

Splatoon 3 Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Cake

Just like last year, this is a special cake that can be decorated and assembled with a variety of flavors and decorations. Only available in limited quantities.

My Nintendo GPS Check-in

My Nintendo Japan members who purchase one or more of the Splatoon 3 items at Baskin Robbins will be eligible to receive a special sticker commemorating the collaboration.
