A special acrylic stand for the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will be available for customers who pre-order the game via Geo retail locations around Japan or via Geo Online. Pre-orders for the set (packaged alongside a physical version of the game) opened on April 16 and will run until July 15 (at 11:59:59 p.m.). The stand itself features the key art from Skyward Sword and measures 100 x 150 x 3 mm. It is exclusive to Geo and will retail for ¥6,570. For comparison, standard physical copies of the game will sell for ¥5,780 at the retailer.
This isn’t the first time that The Legend of Zelda series has seen an acrylic stand as part of a package. The most recent Zelda title, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, also saw a special acrylic stand included in the “Treasure Box” special edition of the game along with some other goodies in Japan. That stand is roughly 145 x 190 x 3 mm, which is a little bit larger than what's on offer here. You can see our showcase of that package here or below.
