New Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild Merch Hits Japan

In addition to the announcement of a Princess Zelda & Loftwing Skyward Sword amiibo, Nintendo also revealed that several new pieces of merchandise will also be available in Japan. The items in question are available for pre-order now on the Japanese My Nintendo Store and all feature the Nintendo TOKYO label. There are five items on offer here: 
  • Mini Bath Towel (featuring Link’s Sailcloth design) | ¥2,420
  • Hand Towel (Master Sword motif) | ¥660
  • Note Pad (Hyrule Shield design) | ¥605
  • Master Sword Ball Pen | ¥1,430
  • Clear Pouch (Skyward Sword artwork) | ¥2,200
All five can be had in a set for ¥7,315 (around $67 USD). A special bundle featuring the Switch HD remaster of Skyward Sword and the towel will retail for ¥8,000 ($73 USD), and a set containing all of the above retails for ¥12,000 ($110 USD). If pre-ordered now, all of the Skyward Sword related items are set to arrive on July 16. 
Additionally, some The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Korok themed merchandise was made available today, May 19. Several keychains, hand fans, coasters, a mug and more are currently listed. The items appear to be very popular with several already sold out hours after being listed.
