Ocarina of Time isn’t the only Zelda title coming in the next few months. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Definitive Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday, February 25, 2027. Per Nintendo:
“Battle through the events of the Great Calamity in this enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 version of the action-packed adventure set 100 years before the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game. This edition features all Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass content, enhanced visuals and frame rate, battles packed with more enemies on screen and an ultra-tough new Calamity Mode. Players with the Nintendo Switch version can transfer existing save data and purchase the digital Nintendo Switch 2 version at a discount via Nintendo eShop.”
Age of Calamity - Definitive Edition will retail for ¥8,980 / $59.99 however the discount for owners of the Switch 1 version of the game will slash the game down to 50% off. Unlike the original release in Japan, this Switch 2 version contains full English support. You can see the Japanese and English language trailers for the game below.
