Nintendo is once again teaming up with convenience store chain Family Mart in Japan for a special collaboration for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Things officially kicked off on Tuesday, May 19 at Family Mart locations nationwide. Here’s what’s on offer:
Purchase Bonus Merch - Plates
Kicking off on May 19 and running until Monday, June 1, the purchase of two specially labeled items will grant shoppers one of four Yoshi themed plates. You can see them below.
FamiPay Stamp Rally Lottery
During the campaign period (May 19 - June 1), purchases made with the FamiPay digital wallet will earn stamps that can be put toward the chance to win Yoshi themed prizes. Five stamps will give fans a chance to win an eight piece Yoshi plushie set or an eight piece Yoshi Kumukumu puzzle set. The sets will be awarded to 20 people each.
Ichiban Kuji Lottery
Kicking off on Saturday, May 23, a special “Ichiban Kuji with Yoshi” will kick off across the country. Tickets will be ¥750 each for a chance at a prize. You can see all of the available goods below.
GPS Check-in
A special Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Japanese wallpaper will be available for free to those that use the GPS check-in functionality in the Nintendo Store app. This will be available until June 1.
The last Nintendo themed campaign at Family Mart took place in late March and featured Animal Crossing. You can read more about that here. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book launches on the Nintendo Switch 2 this week on Thursday, May 21.
