Animal Crossing Campaign Starts at Family Mart March 31

A special campaign featuring Animal Crossing is kicking off across Japan on Tuesday, March 31 with a number of different kinds of merch, room wear and more. 

Convenience Wear

Some everyday use items are going to be available featuring Tom Nook, Tommy and Timmy. Here’s what’s on offer.

Towel In Pouch | ¥2,290

This is a special hand towel that can be folded up stowed away inside of Tommy and Timmy.

Line Socks / Kids Socks | ¥600

Family Mart branded unisex socks that also feature a line design at the top and the Japanese Animal Crossing logo along the foot area. 

Skin Care Collection

Teaming up with skin care brand Mitea ORGANIC, a number of lotions and more will be available at Family Mart. In addition to this, the lineup can also be purchased on the My Nintendo Store online. Family Mart’s online store will also be taking pre-orders for an Animal Crossing leaf design chap stick holder. 

Buy Ice Cream, Get Animal Crossing Bags

Kicking off on Tuesday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. (check your local store for specifics), the purchase of two select ice cream items will earn you one of two tote bags. 

Family Mart App Stamp Campaign Lottery

For those that use Family Mart’s app, FamiPay, stamps can be earned to go toward entry into a lottery for exclusive Animal Crossing goods. This will be divided up into two “courses,” with the first running from March 31 until April 20, and the second course running from April 7 to April 20. You can see images of the exclusive items below.

Ichiban Kuji Lottery

A special lottery for goods kicks off on Saturday, April 4 at Family Mart locations across the country. Throwing down ¥790 will get fans one pull at a chance to win a prize. You can see what’s on offer in the image below. 

Special Animal Crossing Themed Family Mart Locations

Two stores, one in Tokyo and the other in Osaka, will be decked out in Animal Crossing signage and decorations from Tuesday, March 31 until Monday, April 20. Fans that purchase ¥500 or more of Animal Crossing related goods will also be able to pick up an exclusive sticker while supplies last.

GPS Check-in

Special smartphone wallpapers will be available for a limited time to fans that make use of the GPS check-in feature on the Nintendo Store app. This will be available from March 31 until April 20.
