Star Wars: KOTOR II Hitting Switch on June 8

The classic Star Wars hits just keep on coming to the Switch. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is set to the hit the system on June 8. The game is available for pre-order right now and retails for $14.99 | £14.99 | €14.99. Additionally, a bundle including the original KOTOR and KOTOR II is also available for $29.99 | £29.99| €29.99

KOTOR II is a standalone sequel to the original game that puts players in control of a former Jedi looking to reconnect with the Force while trying to stop the demise of the Old Republic. Aspyr promises HD cinematics, textures, UI and resolution to be included in the game. Not only that, but “The Sith Lords Restored Content DLC” will be available at no additional cost post launch. This contains more crew dialogue and interaction, a bonus mission staring everyone’s favorite maniacal droid, HK-47 and a revamped ending.

There has yet to be a confirmation for a Japanese release. It is interesting to note that Aspyr recently released the original KOTOR on the Switch earlier this month which could have paved the way for the sequel day and date with the West. As it stands right now, Japanese is not on the list of supported languages on the NOA product page for the game. You can see the trailer for the game below.
