Tokyo Game Show 2026 has officially came to a close and the numbers are in. Year over year, attendance is down once again with a total of 257,642 visiting the show over the four days that it was open. While TGS 2026 was originally planned as a five day show, the final day was cancelled as a precautionary measure due to Typhoon 25 making landfall on Monday, September 21. In an attempt to tempt fate once again, Tokyo Game Show 2027 is also being planned as a five day event. The event will kick off on Thursday, September 16, 2027 to Monday, September 20, 2027 and is planned to be held once again at Makuhari Messe.
