The first 3D title starring the DK crew is coming to Switch and Switch 2 very soon. Donkey Kong 64 will release on the Nintendo 64 Nintendo Classics app next week on Thursday, June 4 worldwide. You can see both the Japanese and English language trailer for the game below.
The last update to come to the Nintendo 64 app in English speaking territories came back in mid-December and introduced Tonic Trouble and Rayman 2: The Great Escape. That wasn’t the case with Japan. Here, the last update came on May 16, 2025 with the (ironically) English only Ridge Racer 64 which you can read more about here.
