Just in time for the Golden Week holidays in Japan, a new Tetris 99 Maximus Cup event featuring Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is coming on Friday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. Japan Time. The event will run until Tuesday, May 5 at 3:59 p.m. You can see a screenshot and trailer for the new theme below.
This Tomodachi Life themed cup marks the third event for for the game in 2026 and the 53rd overall. Last month saw a Super Mario Galaxy themed Maximus Cup which you can read more about here.
