Over a decade in the making, Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Nintendo Switch has some brand new content. A new storybook chapter, the fifth one in the game, is available now. Per Nintendo:
“In Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, there are Storybooks that you can read as you progress through the games. The Super Mario Galaxy 2 Storybook features the adventures of the twin Lumas, Mari and Lu, and the lady of shooting stars. Jump into the game to catch up on the story—and enjoy the new fifth chapter after clearing any galaxy and obtaining a Power Star.”
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie just released in Japan last Friday, April 24, which might have been the reason for any kind of delay on the update to the game itself. For more on Mario Galaxy, be sure to check out our look at Rosalina’s Storybook here or in the video below.
