Another fighter is heading to the Nintendo Switch 2, this time from Sega. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is set to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday, March 26 worldwide. The standard digital edition will be available for ¥2,500 / $19.99 (US) while a special 30th Anniversary Edition will be released for ¥6,980 / $49.99 on the eShop. A physical version will also be available. Virtua Fighter 5 on the Switch 2 features cross-play, rollback netcode balance updates and key improvements to the training mode. Pre-orders are open for the game now.
In addition to the retail release, an Open Beta Test for the game will kick off on February 19 to test the network servers and the cross-platform performance. Be sure to check the eShop in your region for access to the test.
