Mario’s 40th anniversary is going to see the plumber and friends step back onto the court. Mario Tennis Fever, the next entry in the sub-series from Nintendo, was revealed at the September 12 Nintendo Direct. The game will release on Thursday, February 12, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2 and will retail for ¥7,980 digitally (10 GB download) and ¥8,980 physically. Like many titles from the series in the past, this new title will feature a mix of traditional tennis with a variety of power-ups. Fever will also feature a story mode where Mario and friends are transformed into babies and have to learn the sport all over again. You can see the Japanese and English language trailers below.
