A new special gold colored Power-Up Band is set to go on sale at Universal Studios Japan this week on Saturday, March 18. Outside of the gold color, no additional functionality appears to be offered. The previous six designs will remain on sale. The standard Power-Up Bands run ¥3,800 and the gold color version will likely be the same.
For those unfamiliar, the in tandem with a smartphone app, these bands allow guests to interact with the Super Nintendo World section of the park. This gives them the ability to play interactive games, collect coins and more. Currently, the Gold Power-Up Bands are Japan only.
