Splatoon 3 Tops 5 Mil. in Japan, Switch Sports Over 7 Mil. WW in Latest Financials

The latest financial data from Nintendo for Fiscal Year 2023 Quarter 2 (FY2023 Q2) have been revealed. All sales data is for the period between April 1 to September 30, 2022. Half way through the fiscal year, 15 titles have reached the 1 million mark, 11 of which are Nintendo published titles. Splatoon 3 is at the head of the pack with 7.90 million units sold worldwide - 5.01 million of which were sold in Japan alone. This was followed by Nintendo Switch Sports (now over 6 million units sold), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. 

Below, you can see the top 11 Nintendo published titles and their sales numbers for the 2023 Fiscal Year Q1-2 (April 1 - September 30, 2022):

3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate | 29.53 million*
4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild | 27.79 million*
5. Pokémon Sword / Shield | 25.37 million*
6. Super Mario Odyssey | 24.40 million
7. Super Mario Party | 18.35 million
8. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl | 14.92 million
9. Ring Fit Adventure | 14.87 million
10. Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu / Eevee | 14.81 million
*This number has been adjusted to reflect a revision of sales units in previous years.
