In celebration of all things Kirby, a special Maximus Cup event will be held in Tetris 99 featuring everyone’s favorite pink hero. Based on the recently released Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the event will start on Friday, April 22 at 4:00 p.m. and run until Tuesday, April 26 at 3:59 p.m. (Japan Time). Per usual, users that nab first place or can accumulate 100 in-game points during that event will be rewarded with this new theme. You can check out a video of the new theme below.
Additionally, previously listed at 30 tickets each, all available Kirby themes will be available at a discount of one ticket each between April 19 and June 30. This marks the 29th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99. The last event took place in January and featured Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
