As the Japanese baseball season draws closer, so does the release of Konami’s eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball 2022. Starting today, both the standard and “Powerful Edition” of the game are available for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The standard version retails for ¥8,250 ($69.42 USD) while the Powerful Edition is listed at ¥10,450 ($87.93 USD). The game is set to release on April 21.
There are many returning modes to Power Pro Baseball 2022 including the likes of Pennant Race, Success, My Life and Eikan Nine. The latest addition to the series is Power Park, a mode that puts players against others online around Japan in baseball related and non-baseball related mini-games. More mini-games will be added to the mode during the two year support window.
Additionally, Konami revealed that Ichiro will be making an appearance in nearly all of their current baseball titles on the market. You can see a screenshot of Ichiro as he will appear in Power Pro 2022 below as well as screenshot of what he’ll look like in Power Pro-Kun Pocket R.
