eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball 2020 is receiving its 9th update this week on Friday, May 20. The update is coming to both the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch, bringing the games to versions 1.12 on the PS4 and 1.11.0 on the Switch. This update will introduce athletes into the game that joined active rosters by March 26, add some special characters to Success Mode and address other bug fixes.
The previous update to Power Pro 2020 in early April added a 2021 mode to the game and more. For the past several years Konami has been releasing their console baseball titles, Power Pro Baseball and Pro Baseball Spirits, on a two year release cycle rather than releasing a new title every year. The upcoming Switch exclusive Pro Baseball Spirits 2021 will also receive the same treatment, seeing support into the 2022 Nippon Pro Baseball season.
