The 48th Tetris 99 Maximus Cup has been announced and it’s going to feature none other than Donkey Kong Bananza. Kicking off on Friday, August 1 (4:00 p.m. JST) and running until Tuesday, August 5 (3:59 p.m.), players will be able to try nab this new DK theme after earning 100 points. You can take a look at the new theme in the screenshot and video below.
The last Tetris 99 event took place in late June/early July and featured multiple themes over Maximus Cup time period. You can read more about that here.
