It looks like From Software’s upcoming Switch 2 title needs a little bit more time in the oven. The Duskbloods, originally scheduled for a 2026 release, is getting pushed back to 2027. In an official Duskbloods social media, the company said:
“While development of "The Duskbloods" is at the final adjustment stage, we have made the decision to move the launch window to 2027.
We apologize to players who have been kindly awaiting the release of this title and thank you for your patience and support.
During the network test, we saw active interest in the core concepts of the game, including combat, strategic depth, and player expression. To further enhance these aspects, we have decided to move the launch, allowing time for final adjustments to game rules and balancing.”
The network test took place in August. Considering that the year is running out soon and games like the Ocarina of Time remake and Grand Theft Auto are on the horizon, a 2027 probably makes a bit more sense to give The Duskbloods more time to shine.
