It’s been quite a long wait, but the latest Layton title finally has a solid release date. Professor Layton and the New World of Steam will release on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Steam worldwide on Thursday, December 10. The latest description of the game reads:
“Professor Layton and his trusted assistant Luke return in an all-new installment of the puzzle-solving adventure series set at the dawn of the industrial age. After receiving a letter from Luke, the professor travels to Steam Bison, a rapidly developing American town plagued by mysterious incidents. Solve puzzles, uncover clues and follow the duo’s search for the truth when Professor Layton and the New World of Steam launches for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on Dec. 10.”
