In addition to the twelve sports that will be available in the game at launch, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will offer a little more to those that pick up the game. Revealed during the September 9, 2026 Nintendo Direct, the title will also allow for players to freely explore Wuhu Island. According to Nintendo, “you can freely explore the island, chase dolphins in the ocean, search for hidden hibiscus flowers and collect Spocco Photos to learn more about sightseeing spots around the resort.”
