Just in time for Mario Day, two more Virtual Boy titles and a GBA title are hitting Nintendo Classics next week on Tuesday, March 10. Here’s what’s coming:
Virtual Boy for Nintendo Switch Online Members
- Mario’s Tennis
- Mario Clash
Game Boy Advance for Expansion Pack Members
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong

While this is the first re-release for Mario’s Tennis and Mario Clash on the Virtual Boy, Mario vs. Donkey Kong has had an interesting re-release history. Following its initial release in 2004 on GBA, the game next appeared for Nintendo 3DS early adopters via the 3DS Ambassador Program in December 2011. It would later find its way to the Wii U Virtual Console releasing in 2014 in Japan, 2015 in Europe and Australia, and finally in North American in February 2017. Of course, Mario vs. Donkey Kong got a full blown remake back in 2024 which we reviewed here.
