Two more Game Boy titles have hit the Nintendo Classics lineup. Today, Wednesday, February 4, Balloon Kid and Yoshi are available now for Nintendo Switch Online members. You can see the trailers in Japanese and English below.
While Yoshi is the same with the Japanese release aside from the name (the Japanese name is “Yoshi no Tamago,” or “Yoshi’s Egg”), Balloon Kid was never released on the original Game Boy in the territory. It did, however, see a release on the Game Boy Color in 2000, nearly a decade after the North American release, as Balloon Fight GB via the Nintendo Power service. The title was also released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on October 19, 2011. The last update to the Game Boy library came in late November with the addition of Kid Icarus: Myths and Monsters and Bionic Commando. You can read more about that here.
