The Switch 2 version of Mario’s latest 2D adventure finally has a release date. Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabell Park will be released on Thursday, March 26 worldwide. The game will retail for ¥8,758 (physical, ¥8,500 digital) while the Upgrade Pack will sell for ¥2,000 / $19.99 (USD). Pre-orders for the Upgrade Pack are open now. Meetup in Bellabell Park on the Switch 2 brings several new elements to the game including playable Rosalina, local GameShare, challenges for local and online multiplayer and more. you can see the trailer for the update in Japanese and English below.
Three new amiibo will also release day and date with the game. These include Elephant Mario, Poplin and Prince Florian, and Captain Toad and Talking Flower retailing for ¥2,500 each. They are currently up for pre-order in Japan. You can see images of the amiibo below.
