It’s been a little over a year since it released on the Nintendo Switch, but Nintendo is bringing some free updates to Donkey Kong Country Returns HD today, Wednesday, January 21. The biggest addition here is Dixie Kong, who joins the game as a playable character. Alongside of this, a new high speed mode called Turbo Attack has been added as have enhanced visuals for the Switch 2 (up to 4K) and GameShare support locally.
