Things are coming up Kirby once again in Tetris 99. For the 50th Maximus Cup event, a theme based on Sakurai’s most recent title, Kirby Air Riders, will be available in the game. The event kicks off on Friday, December 5 (4:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time) and will run until Tuesday, December 9. You can see a screenshot and video of the them below.
The last Maximus Cup took place from late August to early September and also featured Kirby. You can read more about that here.
