Nintendo’s competitive battle royal racer has received a new update bringing in more content to the game. The Frozen Tour, a limited time event, tasks racers to collect Gem Sparks while going through the tour stages. Collecting 2,000 of these will net players three tickets. In addition to this, a new Elite Ranking system, three mystery courses and a music player have been added to the game in this update. You can see some screenshots of the new additions below.
F-Zero 99 is available exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The update to version 1.7 is the second update of the year, with version 1.6 dropping in late April.
