Resident Evil Requiem Amiibo, Switch 2 Pro Controller and More Announced

Capcom has revealed some Resident Evil goodies that are coming for fans starting next February. First up, the company shared that a Grace Ashcroft amiibo is in the works. For the moment, there are no images of what this will look like, but the amiibo will be releasing in the summer of 2026. In addition to this, a special Requiem themed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, the first game themed Switch 2 official Pro controller, will release day and date with the game on February 27, 2026. The controller features a “a gunmetal-black visual design with in-world newspaper articles that capture the dark and immersive atmosphere of Resident Evil Requiem.” It will retail for ¥11,980 / $99.99 (USD) and is currently available for pre-order.
Several different versions of Resident Evil Requiem will also be available at launch and are currently available for pre-order. The Deluxe Version of the game includes the following:
  • Five Costumes
  • Four Weapon Skins
  • Two Charms
  • Two Screen Filters
  • Custom Sound Pack
  • Additional In-game Files
A collector’s version of the game will also be available featuring everything found in the Deluxe Edition. The Japanese version is a little bit different from those found in English speaking territories and features the following:
  • SteelBook
  • Grace Ashcroft Acrylic Stand
  • Outer Sleeve
In lieu of the acrylic stand, fans in the West will receive a limited edition lenticular card featuring Grace and Raccoon City Police Department. This Japanese set will release for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam (without the standard game case) for ¥12,500. It should be noted that the physical version of the game on Switch 2 will come on a Game Key Card. The base game is currently listed over on NCL’s product page as a 29.2 GB download. Below, you can see the pricing for all versions of the game in Japan and North America.
  • Standard Version (Physical) | ¥8,990  | $69.99
  • Deluxe Edition (Digital) | ¥9,990  | $79.99
  • Collector’s Edition | ¥12,500
In addition to Requiem, Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Resident Evil Village are also getting a special release. Dubbed the Resident Evil Generation Pack (or the Biohazard 30th Special Pack in Japan), this set includes physical (deluxe) versions of all three games on the Nintendo Switch 2 or PlayStation 5. This will retail for ¥15,389.
Resident Evil Requiem hits consoles and PC on February 27, 2026, while Capcom will broadcast a Requiem Showcase sometime in early 2026.
