The free karaoke session of this month is kicking off today, Friday, February 7 (10:00 a.m.) and running until Monday, February 17 (9:59 a.m.). For this 10 day period, 61 songs that were highlighted during the end of the year music program, Kōhaku no Uta Gassen, will be available to sing up to 99 times each per day. Joysound Karaoke for Nintendo Switch is a free download on the Japanese eShop. To access the free songs, simply go to the “song search” area (曲をさがす in Japanese), then select “Try Songs for Free” (無料お試し曲 in Japanese). To sing more songs, you will need to purchase “tickets,” which start as low as ¥330 for a three hour session. Last month, Joysound featured a special two day period early in the month with two free days of access to the entire song library. You can read more about that here.
