Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo Concerts, Merch Coming in February

Somehow, Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo has returned. Although the event will still not be an in person event, Nintendo is giving fans a chance to tune into two concerts live online. Not only that, but fans in Japan can pre-order Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo merch directly from the online My Nintendo Store right now. Below you can find more information about the concerts and merchandise. Please note, a valid Japanese address is required to purchase items from the online My Nintendo Store in Japan.

Concerts

Two concerts will be broadcast live on Nintendo’s YouTube channels across various regions. On Friday, February 9 at 8:00 p.m. (Japan Time), a concert featuring The Legend of Zelda will kick things off. The following day, Saturday, February 10, also at 8:00 p.m. (JST), will feature a concert called Splatoon 3 Bunker Live Roar*. The Zelda concert will be roughly 30 minutes long while the Splatoon concert will last for around 40 minutes.

Both of these concerts were originally planned to be part of the festivities at the Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo at Tokyo Big Site. If you would like to check out the concerts with some English support, be sure to check your region’s Nintendo social media for information on start time in your region. As of right now, the start time for the concert via Japan’s portal page will start roughly two hours earlier than Nintendo of America.

*The original Japanese is the word 轟 (gou), which can mean roar(ing), thunder, or boom.

Merchandise

A variety of merchandise for the event is available right now on the online My Nintendo Store in Japan. Order made by on or before February 5 will be guaranteed to arrive to fans before the first concert kicks off. Current estimated delivery dates are February 8. Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo was originally scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21. The event was canceled a day after registration closed due to threats to Nintendo employees and participants in rated tournaments.
