San Diego Studios is gearing up to reveal the next cover athlete for MLB The Show 24. A video showcasing the new athlete will be revealed on Wednesday, January 31 at 3:00 a.m. JST (January 30, 10:00 a.m. PT) and will be broadcast on both Twitch and YouTube. The only hint that the company has given gamers is the text, “It’ll be a wild ride.”
MLB The Show was previously a PlayStation exclusive franchise before making its way to Xbox platforms in 2021 and then also the Switch in 2022. MLB The Show 22 featured the two-way sensation Shohei Ohtani (who recently became Konami’s “baseball game ambassador”) while The Show 23 featured Miami Marlins’ Jazz Chisholm.
