Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince Cracks 1 Million Worldwide

The latest Dragon Quest spinoff is doing pretty well for Square Enix. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince for the Nintendo Switch has shipped over one million units worldwide. This number includes both physical and digital sales. In celebration of this milestone, Square Enix is offering a handful of in game items to players. Dubbed the “Mighty Meat Platter Set,” the following items can be downloaded for free as part of the set:

• Manky meat x 5
• Monster munchies x 5
• Smoked sirloin x 5
• Meaty treat x 3
• Beastie bites x 2
• Better beastie bites x 1

The set will become available starting February 1. Once downloaded, the items will be automatically added to the player’s inventory upon booting up the game. 

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince released worldwide on the Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2023. For those on the fence, a free demo is available to take the game for a spin.
