Wave Six of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass has a release window - this winter. While the specific date has yet to be nailed down, Nintendo did confirm one of the eight course as well as four new playable characters. Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii will be added to the mix as well as the ability to play as Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline and Peachette.
During the Nintendo Direct, NCL also revealed a new physical version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe including the Booster Course Pass. This will release on Friday, October 6 and will retail for ¥8,800. This is slightly cheaper than picking up both separately, resulting in ¥278 in savings. The retail version of Deluxe sells for ¥6,578 and the Pass goes for ¥2,500 on their own.
The first wave of the Booster Course Pass released back in March 2022 with subsequent releases leading up to where we are now. When it’s all said and done, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will boast 96 playable courses and over 40 playable characters.
