If you opt to pick up the bundle physically or digitally, you may want to free up some on your SD card. Here’s a break down of how much space you’ll need for each title and the bonus content.
  • Metal Gear Solid - 4.8 GB
  • Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty - 8.0 GB
  • Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater - 12.0 GB
  • Bonus Content - 1.0 GB + 30 GB for bonus videos
The physical version will only come with 2.4 GB on the cart and require gamers to download 24.1 GB to play the games (with an additional 30 GB for the videos).
It has been quite some time since the Metal Gear Solid franchise has appeared on a Nintendo platform. Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D was the last title from the series to appear, releasing on the Nintendo 3DS in early 2012. Before that, the GameCube was home to Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes in 2004.
