Sneak Preview for Mario Movie Coming to Tokyo, Osaka

My Nintendo account holders in Japan should double check their email. Ahead of the Friday, April 28 release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie in Japan, Nintendo is planning a sneak preview for the movie on Sunday, April 23. Select My Nintendo account holders have been sent emails with a special link to request a pair of tickets to attend the event. The movie will have four showings in both Tokyo and Osaka (two in each). The registration period is currently open from March 30 until April 5 at 10:00 a.m. Here are the details on the theater locations:

Tokyo

Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills | 11:45 a.m. | 2D Dubbed Version

Shinjuku Wald 9 | 7:00 p.m. | 3D Subbed Version (Dolby Cinema)

Osaka

Toho Cinemas Namba | 11:45 a.m. | 2D Dubbed Version

T-Joy Umeda Cineas | 7:00 p.m. | 3D Subbed Version (Dolby Cinema)

In the case of a large number of applicants, a lottery will be held with winners being sent physical tickets on April 17. Seat requests or seat changes will not be granted. The application is limited to one entry per My Nintendo member. 

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to release on April 5 in most English speaking territories.
