The legend lives on again, this time outside of the Nintendo ecosystem. The HD-2D remake of Live A Live is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam on April 27 and will retail for ¥7,480 on all platforms. A demo for the game is available now on PlayStation 4/5 and coming to Steam on March 31. Save data from the demo will carry over to the final version of the game. The PlayStation versions will run in full 1080p at 60 frames per second. The Switch version only ran at 720p at 30 frames per second.
Additionally, a new collector’s edition will also be released for these version exclusively on the Square Enix e-Store in Japan. The set retails for ¥22,000 and comes with the following:

- Mini Acrylic Stand Set
- Stickers
- Live A Live Original + HD-2D Illustrations Art Book
- Comic
- Tote Bag
