It’s been nearly four months, but a new event for Tetris 99 is set to start this week. From Friday, December 16 until Tuesday, December 20, a Tetris 99 Maximus Cup featuring Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be available for Nintendo Switch Online members. If you can manage to get 100 points in online play, you can walk away with this new Kirby’s Dream Buffet theme.
This marks the first Maximus Cup since August, and the first one featuring a brand new theme since April. The Cup in August offered previously released themes over the course of a week, while the event in April featured Kirby and the Forgotten Land. This is the fourth Maximus Cup to take place in 2022.
