EarthBound related merchandise is currently available on the My Nintendo Online store in Japan. Two items are currently on “sale” for 400 Platinum Points each. The “Mother Eight Melodies Note Book” is a Mother themed notebook featuring 8 pages for music staff notes and 56 pages for general note taking. Additionally, a Space Distorter luggage tag is also available. Both items are scheduled to start shipping in late February. Although free, both items require a shipping charge of ¥550 (for both, or individually). You can see more pictures of the items in the gallery below.
Mother (EarthBound Beginnings) and Mother 2 (EarthBound) were added to the Nintendo Switch Online service following the February 10 Nintendo Direct. This marks the second time that EarthBound Beginnings has seen an official release in English, with the first being on the Wii U Virtual Console back in 2015. EarthBound saw a digital release on the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the Super Nintendo Classic Edition.
