The seemingly forgotten Famicom and Super Famicom Online apps have received a bit of new life. Nintendo has released both Mother and Mother 2 on the Famicom and Super Famicom Online apps following the Nintendo Direct. The games are available in all territories to Nintendo Switch Online members. You can see the Japanese trailer for the games below.
This marks the second time Mother, aka EarthBound Beginnings, has hit a digitally on a Nintendo system. The game was officially released in English on the Wii U Virtual Console back in June 2015.
