Fans of cute, round athletes in their baseball video games have reason to rejoice. eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball 2022 is heading to the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 on April 21, 2022. The standard edition of the game will retail for ¥8,250 ($72 USD) while the "Powerful Edition" will sell for ¥10,450 ($91.21 USD). On top of featuring the full Nippon Pro Baseball license, Power Pro 2022 will feature more modes than ever before - including one that is brand new. Some of the returning modes to 2022 are Pennant Race, Success Mode, the high school baseball themed Eikan Nine and My Life.
The new mode created for this Power Pro 2022 is called Power Park. This will allow players to use created athletes to face off in head to head competitions with others online in some form of mini-games. Konami plans to continue support for the mode with updates after release. The example shown in a screenshot is a game called Sushi Survival, however, no additional details were revealed.
