CD Projekt Red Japan confirmed that the new The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC featuring content based on the Netflix series is coming to the Switch in Japan. While the next generation consoles will see some updates come to the game on the visual front, players who own the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions will still be able to download this free update. Currently, details are scarce with CD Projekt Red saying that “more info is coming soon.”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition launched on October 17, 2019 in Japan on the Switch, a few days after the game released in other regions worldwide on the platform. Publishing duties for the physical version were handed over to Spike Chunsoft while CD Projekt Red handled the digital release on the Japanese eShop. Season 2 of The Witcher is set to hit Netflix on December 17.
