The rumors are true and a second N64 remake is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was officially revealed during the June 9, 2026 Nintendo Direct. The teaser trailer depicts what is essentially the intro of the original game with a brief look at young Link from the game. Nintendo has shared that the game will arrive on the system sometime in 2026, however additional details will come later outside of the text, “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be reborn on Nintendo Switch 2.” You can see the Japanese and English language trailers for the game below.
