Nintendo is taking Mario to the ball game, literally, in Japan for the Nippon Professional Baseball 2026 season. On select days throughout the season, Nintendo will be the main sponsor at NPB ballparks across the country. At each game, Mario will throw out the first pitch and first, second and third bases will all feature a Super Mario Question Block theme. Visiting fans will even have a chance to run the bases themselves by entering into a lottery. Merchandise featuring this collaborative effort will also be available with details to follow later.
