Power Pro Baseball 2026 - 2027 Coming Summer 2026 to Japan

Konami is bringing back their cute sim-baseball series for another two years. Powerful Pro Yakyū 2026-2027 for the Nintendo Switch kicked off the February 5 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase in Japan with none other than Konami baseball ambassador opening the broadcast in Japan. The game is currently slated for a summer 2026 release and will miss out on the opening of the season, however, Konami is celebrating 30 years of the popular Success Mode in this years iteration.
Additionally, a special scenario featuring Shohei Ohtani aiming to become the best in the world will also be a part of the package. Other confirmed modes outside of Success are the high school focused Eikan Nine and Power Fes for competitive play. Of course, you can expect the full Nippon Pro Baseball license when the game releases this summer. you can check out the trailer for the game below. No Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the game was announced, though the game will also be launching on the PlayStation 4.
Power Pros 2026-2027 is a Japan exclusive. The mainline series kicked off on the Nintendo Switch back in 2019 and has been coming consistently ever since. For more on the previous game in the series, be sure to check out our review of Power Pros 2024-2025 here or in the video below.
